A holiday in Olang means fun, variety and relaxation for all the family. For the children, who can really let their hair down in the great outdoors. For the parents, who finally get a chance to go hiking again. And for the grandparents, who can spend precious family time with their children and grandchildren. Olang has everything you could possibly need for relaxing holidays with everyone you love: hiking trails at all altitudes and levels of difficulty, child-friendly parks and playgrounds, no disruptive through traffic. Added to this are family-oriented accommodation, the cable cars right outside your front door, and the Pustertal/Val Pusteria Valley cycle trail just around the corner. Two nature parks show off the very best ways in which Mother Nature has expressed herself in the area, with meadows, forests, waterfalls and lakes that blend together to create a colourful palette of possibilities that will take their place in the family album as lasting holiday memories.
In the wintertime fun in the snow is the order of the day! In the Kids Area Panorama you can find two Magic Carpets (81 m long and 60 m long): this is where a children’s ski slope, a sledding slope, and an inner tubing fun course offer abundant possibilities for gliding, sliding, and whizzing down the hill. For the kids: 21 m long Magic Carpet.
Furthermore, tubes, toboggans, Swiss Bobs and slide boards can be rented.
The rental is included in the entrance fee!
Right next to it is the prepared ice skating rink. The skates can be rented there (free rental to owners of the South Tyrol Guest Pass).
You will find a lot of activities to explore!
With nature close enough to touch, the little ones will have a great time at the Valdaora Kid’s World. This is a playground that is several hundred meters (yards) long which is divided into three areas: a forest playground, water world and climbing world.
Highlight: Superslide in the Kid's World
Valdaora is the home to two of the largest riding stables in South Tyrol-Südtirol: the Tolderhof and the Tharerhof. They offer accompanied horseback rides, riding courses, and even coach trips, and they are also good just for a visit so that little horse fans can reach their tiny hands through the fence and pet the velvety snouts of the noble animals.
Visit also the Kids Area Panorama, where the kids can rush down the summer slope with the dirt boards, grass skis and tubing. Near the Kids Area parents and children will learn how to use arrows in the 3D archery course.
During the summer, the young ones can be “Dolomiti Rangers” in the wildly beautiful Fanes-Sennes-Braies/Prags Nature Park and can get to the bottom of the wonders of nature, discovering the answers to burning questions that sometimes even parents don’t know.
