Today panoramic skiing on the Kronplatz, tomorrow the train to the Drei Zinnen/Tre Cime Dolomites ski resort, the next day the legendary Sella Ronda. And every day your SÜDTIROL GUEST PASS will act as a free ticket for public transport and the ski bus, which runs at reliable 20-minute intervals to the cable car valley stations.
Incidentally: in Olang, the quickest route to skiing paradise is also the shortest. The journey with the innovative 10-seater Olang I and II gondolas lasts a whole three minutes, running directly from the village to the Kronplatz. And once there, perfectly groomed slopes, 360º panoramic views and inviting chalets await snow-hungry skiers, free-skiing and snowboarding fans.
In the winter season 2020/2021, the biggest project ever realised at Kronplatz/Plan de Corones, the new cable car "Olang 1+2" was opened.
With a speed of 6.5m/s and a transport capacity of 3,900 persons per hour, the new lift is the ascent system with the highest transport capacity at Kronplatz/Plan de Corones.
Incidentally, the Kronplatz ski area was named test winner 2024 in the "5-star ski resort" category by the world's largest test portal for ski resorts, Skiresort.de.

To reach the ski area, rest assured that it is possible to do without the use of a personal car. The ski buses circulate regularly between the villages and the valley terminals of the ski lift facilities.

The Olang side of Kronplatz has many blue slopes that are easily doable for children and beginners.
KIDS PARKS
In collaboration with the Moessmer company from Brunico, a gondola from the Alpen Connecting cable car has been upgraded and transformed into a VIP cabin. The trip with the VIP cabin has to be booked in advance.
