The CallBus Olang is revolutionising public transport in the Pustertal. The on-demand e-bus connects more than 90 stops – exactly when you need it. You can book it by app; it's carbon-neutral and barrier-free.

 

Thanks to the electric bus, you can travel flexibly and sustainably at all times. It runs when you need it, taking you straight to your destination – with no set timetables, no need to search for parking spaces, all while being 100% electric and CO₂-neutral. Over 90 bus stops located throughout the municipality ensure that you can easily reach every corner of Olang. An additional benefit: the CallBus Olang is also available beyond regular public transport services, such as the city bus, ski bus, or local bus lines, and can be booked on the spot via the CallBus App or up to 24 hours in advance.

Bookings can be made conveniently via the app: on the spot or up to 24 hours prior to departure. Thanks to more than 90 stops throughout the municipality, you can easily reach every corner of Olang/Valdaora. Furthermore, the CallBus is also available when buses, city buses or ski buses are not operating – or if your destination is not served by regular public transport. The CallBus App allows you to book an on-demand bus quickly and easily – from a restaurant, after an event or in advance to organise your return journey. This allows you to get around with complete flexibility, enjoying a peaceful and relaxed holiday.

Where does the CallBus Olang operate and where can I get on?

The CallBus Olang takes you anywhere within our municipality – flexible and hassle-free. With over 90 virtual and fixed stops available, you can get on and off practically right near your accommodation and your destination. The app automatically shows you the nearest boarding point based on your location. This way, the CallBus conveniently takes you to all the important places in Olang.

How much does a ride on the CallBus Olang cost?

With your Kronplatz Guest Pass, which you receive from your host, you can use the CallBus free of charge every day during your stay. If you do not have a Guest Pass, a single ride costs just €2. Payment is quick and cashless directly via the CallBus app – it couldn’t be easier!

When is the CallBus Olang available?

The CallBus Olang is available every day within the defined operating hours:

High season (15.12–15.03 & 15.06–15.09):
daily from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm

Low season (16.03–14.06 & 16.09–14.12):
daily from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm

How long is the waiting time for the CallBus Olang?

Don’t worry, you won’t have to wait long! The average waiting time is just a few minutes. The app shows you the estimated pick-up time accurately, and you can even track your CallBus in real time on the map. This way, you always know exactly when it’s time to go.

Can I book rides in advance?

Absolutely! You can book your rides via the app up to 24 hours in advance. This is especially convenient if you have important appointments or are planning longer trips. All your bookings – whether spontaneous or scheduled in advance – are clearly displayed in the app, so you always have a full overview.

Can I bring luggage with me?

Hand luggage such as backpacks, bags or shopping items can be taken along at any time without any problem. For larger luggage such as suitcases or strollers, space is also available depending on availability. Simply indicate this when booking in the app so we can provide the right vehicle for you.

Can I also take my skis or my bike with me?

Of course! Every CallBus is equipped for your sporty adventures: in winter, you can bring your skis or snowboard, and in summer there is space for up to 3 bicycles. This way, nothing stands in the way of your day on the slopes or on the most beautiful cycling routes around Olang!

Are child seats available on the CallBus Olang?

Yes, child seats and booster seats are available on our CallBuses. Please book a separate seat for each child and indicate which type of child seat you need when making the booking. This ensures that even our youngest passengers travel safely and comfortably.

Is the CallBus Olang accessible for people with disabilities?

Yes, the CallBus Olang is fully accessible. To ensure we can support you in the best possible way, please let us know when booking via the app if you require assistance. This allows us to make all the necessary arrangements. Foldable mobility aids such as walkers can also be carried spontaneously on all vehicles.

Can I bring my pet with me?

Your four-legged friends are very welcome! There is even a dog crate on board, ensuring that both your pet and all other passengers feel comfortable. This way, your loyal companion can also explore the area with you in a relaxed and stress-free way.

The CallBus contributes to a more sustainable, flexible and simplified mobility in Olang. With its on-demand service, the it is available exactly when and where it is needed. Starting in November 2025, it will complement Olang’s public transport service, accompanying guests and locals directly to their destinations – without scheduled timetables or the need for private cars. When required, a barrier-free bus is available for people with disabilities.
