This scenic circular hike around Niederrasen and Oberrasen offers stunning views of the Dolomites and the surrounding mountains. The varied route combines peaceful forest trails with open sections along the so-called Dolomites panoramic loop, which truly lives up to its name.
Starting from Niederrasen or Oberrasen, the path leads via the Oberstaller farms up to Kirmle farm. Those who wish to extend the hike can continue to the Mudler mountain inn, where a pleasant stop is possible.
After returning to Kirmlehof, follow the Dolomites panoramic loop towards loc. Obergoste. Along this section, you will enjoy repeated breathtaking views of the Dolomites.
The hike can be adapted flexibly: optionally, at Obergoste you can descend via the Altrasen ruins trail to the Altrasen castle ruins and return to Niederrasen.

At the Moarhof farm in loc. Obergoste, stay on the Dolomites panoramic loop and return towards the starting point.

At the Moarhof farm, you can descend via the Altrasen ruins trail to the castle ruins and return to Niederrasen.
From the Pustertal road, turn into the Antholz Valley and drive to Niederrasen or Oberrasen.
