This pleasant walk from Niederrasen to "Goste" in Oberolang is an easy and quiet hike along the edge of the forest in the Antholz Valley. The route follows a comfortable gravel path through an idyllic landscape, offering beautiful views of the valley and the surrounding mountains.
Starting at the "Joggila Stöckl" (chapel), the path first leads across open fields to the edge of the forest. From there, a gently ascending forest road continues towards Goste. The peaceful setting and open landscape make this walk especially relaxing.
The tour is ideal for families, nature lovers and anyone looking for a relaxing break in nature. The return follows the same route.
The starting point is Niederrasen at the "Joggila Stöckl" (chapel). From here, follow trail no. 23, which first leads gently through meadows and fields to the forest edge.
At the forest edge, the path becomes a well-maintained forest road that ascends slightly through quiet woodland. Along the way, there are frequent beautiful views of the Antholz Valley and the surrounding mountains.
Following trail no. 23, you eventually reach Goste near Oberolang, with a stunning view of the Dolomites.
Return along the same route to Niederrasen.
Take bus line 431 from the Olang-Antholz train station or from Lake Antholz to the stop “Niederrasen, Hinteraue”.
