Responsibility for the Future

Energy with Responsibility

In an Alpine landscape defined by unspoiled nature and crisp mountain air, the conscious use of energy carries a special responsibility. Energy is one of the most important levers in climate protection and therefore crucial for the future of our destination.

We combine innovation with regional strength, pursuing the clear goal of consistently reducing emissions and using energy responsibly. In doing so, we safeguard nature, quality of life and long-term tourism perspectives – for present and future generations.

Understand and offset your CO₂ Footprint

Sustainable travel often starts with small steps – such as a mindful look at how we journey.
Even if your holiday in the mountains is full of nature experiences, CO₂ emissions still occur during travel and your stay – impacting the climate.

Good to know: You can easily calculate your personal CO₂ footprint – and even offset it voluntarily. By doing so, you support certified climate protection projects and actively contribute to more responsible tourism.
The calculation takes only a few moments and is a meaningful step toward a more sustainable future:

Tip: Combine your eco-friendly arrival with the Kronplatz Guest Pass, which gives you free access to buses and trains throughout South Tyrol – making your holiday not only more relaxing, but also more environmentally conscious.

Light Pollution Map

The Light Pollution Map shows how bright the night sky is and raises awareness of where lighting can be reduced in a targeted way. Less scattered light means lower energy consumption, fewer CO₂ emissions and greater protection for nature and wildlife.

With efficient, downward-directed lighting and adjusted operating hours, we save energy, create atmosphere and preserve the starry sky above our mountains.
