The Citybus Olang links all districts and takes you quickly and reliably to the most important stops. At the Olang train station, you can board the Pustertal railway, which travels sustainably through the entire valley.

Throughout your stay, you can use all public transport in South Tyrol free of charge - thanks to the Kronplatz Guest Pass. Whether on the Pustertal railway, local buses, the Citybus Olang or the ski bus: you can travel flexibly and sustainably, without needing a car. The guest card not only provides a way to save money, but also to reduce traffic and protect the environment. It is available at all accommodation facilities in Olang and can be picked up free of charge upon check-in.

Citybus Olang

The Citybus Olang offers the ideal way to travel around the municipality in a comfortable and environmentally friendly way. The bus line connects Olang's four hamlets – Mitterolang, Oberolang, Niederolang and Geiselsberg – providing a quick link to the most important destinations.

The Citybus operates on a regular basis and stops at strategically important locations, including:

  • Hotels, guesthouses and holiday flats to simplify arrivals and departures

Olang train station

Olang train station is a key transport hub in the Pustertal valley, offering easy and eco-friendly travel throughout the region. From here, you can take the Pustertal railway that connects Olang with the cities of Bruneck, Brixen, Bozen and Lienz in East Tyrol. The train station features a modern and barrier-free infrastructure.

Thanks to the Bike & Train service, bike lovers can easily take their bikes on the Pustertal railway and flexibly combine longer routes. The connection to the Citybus Olang and other bus lines further makes the railway station a strategic starting point for exploring the Pustertal valley. In winter, the ski bus also accompanies passengers directly to the Kronplatz cable car valley stations.

One especially interesting benefit for our guests is the Kronplatz Guest Pass, which allows to travel free of charge on all public transport in South Tyrol - such as trains, buses and some cable cars. This promotes a sustainable and relaxed way to explore the region, while simply forgetting about your car.

Skibus Olang

The ski bus Olang accompanies all winter sports enthusiasts quickly and conveniently to the valley stations of the Kronplatz lift facilities. With its frequent connections, you can easily leave the car behind and start your day on the slopes in a relaxed way.

The bus stops in Mitterolang, Oberolang and Niederolang, are located at strategic spots and major accommodation facilities across the town, providing easy access to the Olang 1+2 valley station without the need to search for parking. A great bonus: if you hold the Kronplatz Guest Pass, the ski bus is free of charge.

From a sustainable point of view, the ski bus is a win too, as it supports cutting down on traffic and safeguarding the environment. Instead of reaching the slopes by car, travel straight to the ski area in a relaxed and climate-friendly way.

The Pustertal valley cycle route invites you to explore the suggestive Pustertal valley in a sustainable way. The cycle path runs alongside the Rienz river from the locality of Mühlbach all the way to the city of Lienz in East Tyrol. The itinerary passes through quaint towns, historic centres and captivating natural landscapes. With gentle gradients and well-maintained tracks, it is ideal for families and active cyclists alike.

Help us reduce emissions: avoid starting the engine before your windscreen is defrosted. Instead, enjoy a cup of coffee or use an ice scraper.
