The Furkel Pass is an ideal starting point for a wide range of outdoor experiences and can be reached in different ways: on foot, by bike or comfortably with the new Furkelpass Express. Whether you prefer a sporty or relaxed approach, even the journey there can be tailored to your plans.
From here, numerous hiking trails and bike tours lead into the surrounding mountain world. Particularly popular options include the mountain tour to Piz da Peres or a hike to our local mountain, Kronplatz. This makes the Furkel Pass the perfect starting point for everyone who wants to actively discover Olang’s nature.
From June 15 to September 15, you can reach the Furkel Pass comfortably with the CallBus. The Furkelpass Express takes you from the village up to the pass – ideal for hikes, bike tours or car-free excursions. There are 5 stops available in the village. Every day, there are 2 rides to the Furkel Pass and 1 return ride back to the village. Your bike can also come along: a maximum of 3 bikes can be transported per ride. Please indicate this when booking.
Important: The ride must be booked by 8:00 p.m. on the previous day. A separate booking is required for the outward and return journey.

Starting from Bad Bergfall, which can be reached with the Trekking Bus 435.2, follow trail no. 4 and then trail no. 4a to the Trattes mountain restaurant. From there, continue along trail no. 3 to the Furkel Pass.
Another option also starts from Bad Bergfall, which can be reached with the Trekking Bus 435.2. Follow trail no. 4 to the Furkel Pass road. After crossing the road, the route continues close to the Marchner lift and then joins trail no. 13a. This trail leads along the slopes of Kronplatz and then descends towards the valley, ending at the Furkel Pass.
From Olang, you can easily reach the Furkel Pass by bike. The route first leads uphill to Geiselsberg. From there, simply follow the paved road and the signs towards the Furkel Pass.

The Furkel Pass is also easy to reach by car. From Olang, you first drive towards Geiselsberg. From there, follow the well-maintained paved road and the signs towards the Furkel Pass.
